On the road over Independence Pass… Part 4 of 4 in our Telluride weekend road trip.
The final stretch of our drive was north and east along the Ragged Mountains, Elk Mountains, and Snowmass Wilderness. We’ve been on pieces of this drive before, but never to see the fall foliage over Independence Pass.

Such beautiful kaleidoscope of color in those wonderful CO mountains……no wonder they call your state “Colorful Colorado”! Hard to pick a favorite view…………
