Sandbeach Lake

I drove up to Allenspark on a Saturday night in July to hike up to Sandbeach Lake in the morning. 

A quick hike just inside RMNP.

I love those early morning sunrises,

Staring down the valley carved by the North Saint Vrain Creek,

A couple hours in the trees and then I popped out into the sand,

Perfectly calm and serene,

On the south shore looking north (maybe at Mt Meeker?),

Water was very cold, but I couldn’t resist taking a dip!
