Another year, another opportunity for paragliding among the balloons of the annual Frederick in Flight event!
I drove up Friday night and camped out in the van… tight squeeze with all my equipment, but still better than driving up in the morning.
Close to a dozen of us showed up with our motors. The field was not so great to launch from because of all the thorny brush catching on the lines, but I only needed one solid launch and I was up and away from it.
Skies were cloudy, but air was real smooth. Unedited action cam footage below, balloons begin around the 6 minute mark, enjoy!
