An hour-long cross country flight to Chatfield Lake and back on a gorgeous afternoon in October.
Bear Creek Lake and Green Mountain beyond,
Golf course and Denver skyline,
Heading south along the hogback,
The Manor House is hard to miss,
Hogback Ridge,

Buzzin boats,
Cruised the perimeter to peep the Marina before heading back,
Denver skyline from about 20 miles away,
I actually ran out of gas mid-flight, but thankfully had enough altitude to reach the LZ and glide down for a relatively normal landing.
